Miss Parise has been with the TEAM family since opening day in 2011, teaching both kindergarten and first grade. Additionally, she substitute taught in grades k-8 for four years prior to joining TEAM.
Miss Parise was born and raised in Stockton. Her family has been a part of the Stockton community for several generations. She also has a large portion of family on the east coast, and she enjoys spending as much time traveling and visiting them as she can.
She has always loved literature and the written word, so it was fitting that Miss Parise chose to pursue an education in English Literature. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from California State University Sacramento and a Master of Arts from California State University Long Beach. She then decided that her calling was to mentor young minds, so she went back to school for her elementary teaching credential from California State University Fresno. However, she remains passionate for all things literary and hopes to inspire her students to have the same passion for reading and quest for knowledge that she has had since childhood.
Miss Parise believes that the need for all people to respect and appreciate all humans is of utmost importance. She is inspired to teach, guide, and mentor young children with an overarching goal to foster love and respect for all human beings.
“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.”
