Lydia Valentin was born in Stockton, CA. She attended California State University Sacramento, earning a B.A. degree in the field of Social Work, and later attended California State University Stanislaus, earning her California Teaching Credential. She has been serving the field of education for the past 20 years as a classroom teacher, resource teacher, program specialist, and academic coach. She very much enjoys supporting teachers in developing effective teaching strategies to produce successful students who are independent learners and are prepared to meet challenges and to overcome them.
